Structure

With the most recent and coming advances of information and electronics technologies and remote sensing big data support, precision agriculture will be developed into smart, intelligent agriculture.

Data Management

The objective of this project is to overview the theory and practice of agricultural remote sensing big data management for data processing and applications and to propose a scheme and methodology for management and applications of agricultural remote sensing big data usage for precision and smart agriculture under Egyptian agricultural conditions.

Remote Sensing Processing

The generalization, standardization and serialization of remote sensing data and loads are the inevitable trend in future remote sensing technological development. It is the basis for solving the problem of inconsistent remote sensing data. It is also the prerequisite for promoting the application of remote sensing big data.

Web Building

Platform is based on web_based services will help discover desired geospatial data, through a user-friendly interface. While all data will be accessed through the proposed Platform will promote only data that meet the project criteria (developed during project: user requirement task).

    Transition to Full Service

    SENTINEL-2 as an optical satellite used for crop mapping and vegetation cover indices mapping.
    Top-of-canopy (TOC) reflectance image is first submitted to a spectral classification.
    The land cover classification and crop identification maps, a refinement of the variable ranges would be considered during data analysis.
    Then the collected field data and the acquired crop reflectance either by field measurements or space-borne sensors would be fitted for crop canopy reflectance and VI to monitor vegetation cover.
