The Remote
Sensing and Space Sciences Incubator is participating in the activities of
Cairo ICT 2024, which was honored and inaugurated by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly,
Prime Minister, and Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Higher
Research, and which is being held during the period from November 17 to 20.
The
participation of the remote sensing incubator is part of the Innovation Arena
pavilion in support of innovation and entrepreneurship in remote sensing and
space science and their various applications, including reviewing the
achievements of start-ups that the incubator has incubated and graduated from
and that have developed innovative solutions and technologies in critical areas
such as remote sensing and space science.
Through this
event, the incubator aims to enhance communication channels with various
sectors and potential partners and open new horizons for fruitful cooperation.
For his part,
Dr. Islam Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the National Authority for Remote Sensing
and Space Sciences, stressed that the incubator represents an integrated model
for supporting innovative youth and motivating them to transform their ideas
into successful projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development
goals, pointing out the importance of supporting innovators, entrepreneurs and
start-ups in a way that benefits society and the national economy.
Dr. Ghada
Khadry, Director of the Incubator, stressed that participating in Cairo ICT
2024 enhances the incubator’s position as a leading national platform to
support emerging companies in the field of remote sensing technology and space
sciences, noting that the incubator provided specialized technical and advisory
support that helped these companies achieve tangible successes.
Cairo ICT
2024 is one of the most prominent annual events in the field of technology and
communications, as it brings together an elite group of local and international
companies and institutions to showcase the latest technologies and innovative
solutions, which provides great opportunities for communication and cooperation
between different parties.
It is worth
noting that the 28th edition of Cairo ICT 24 Exhibition and Conference is held
under the slogan "The Next Wave" and will continue for four days with
the participation of major global institutions and technology leaders; to
present the latest technologies and future trends in the era of artificial
intelligence, in addition to a wide presence of elite experts and speakers from
various technical fields. The exhibition also includes organizing many
interactive workshops, discussion sessions, training programs, meetings with
inspiring figures, and presenting success stories and unique experiences; to
enhance innovation and entrepreneurship skills.
