Workshop on the Science Direct platform
National Authority For Remote Sensing and Space Sciences under the supervision of professor. Mohammed Bayoumi Zahran, NARSS Chairman , hosted a workshop
experts from Egypt and South Africa lectured on the global digital platform for books, periodicals and international references. The workshop dealt with all the services provided by a platform for staff members of research centers of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also addressed the possibility of adapting the services provided by the platform to suit the work and specialization in all research centers.
The two parties agreed that NARSS will prepare a detailed statement on the current and future needs of books and references covering all its disciplines. Contacts between the two parties will continue until all the needs of the staff members of NARSS are met from international books and references.
