Market knowledge & Economic Advantages

The innovative tools and participatory approaches adopted by the project, provides a conducive environment to cogenerate and co-innovate with the stakeholders to address water and soil pollution issues emanating due to the production practice in the local settings.
The approach will produce targeted solutions of local relevance, which will be tested with the farmers to assess the agronomic productivity and economic viability of the solutions (WP4). Since the tools and measures generated by the project will be package into a decision support tool with the local stakeholder platform, the solutions will be disseminated by the farmers themselves to the other potential farmers, far beyond the project sites and project life time leaving a long lasting legacy. Hence, the return on investment on the project will be manifold by reaching the farmers, who are the endusers of the solutions to address their farming constraints on water and soil pollution.
