NARSSThe New Valley Governorate in Egypt is one of the most promising areas for the establishment of horizontal expansion and the establishment of agricultural and urban clusters - so it was necessary to study the various land resources. The practical purpose of this project was to use all available resources and potentials to create investment opportunities in New Valley. The most important results of this study were the production of soil classification maps and assessment Productivity and viability of specific crops using remote sensing techniques and geographic information systems (GIS) and the creation of a digital geographic database for the New Valley Governorate are available in a user-friendly format for land-use planners and decision makers.
