Multivariate and Geo-statistical Analysis for Soil Quality Assessment in Northwestern Coast of Egypt

The present study aimed to evaluate the quality of soil the horizontal and vertical spatial changes of soil quality (SQ) in some areas in Northwestern Coast of Egypt using remote sensing (developing and implementing a spectral soil quality index (SSQI)), using imaging spectroscopy (IS), GIS, multivariate statistics and geo-statistical methods.

The present study aimed to evaluate the quality of soil the horizontal and vertical spatial changes of soil quality (SQ) in some areas in Northwestern Coast of Egypt using remote sensing (developing and implementing a spectral soil quality index (SSQI)), using  imaging spectroscopy (IS), GIS, multivariate statistics and geo-statistical methods.

The final SQI include select chemical, physical and biological indicators and their final parameter weights for SQI for Northwestern Coast of Egypt.
