This was a joint project between NARSS and Al-Yassin farm.

The study of the farm showed that the underground reservoir starts from a depth of 130 m to a depth of 180 m which was a sandstone tank and has a discharge of about 50 m 3 hours and the level of the surface of the static water up to 105 m and salinity 550 to 650 ppm.

• A basaltic layer of 190 m depth.

• It is expected that the layers that carry the groundwater below the basalt layer will have a high salinity of more than 1100 ppm.
